AFM Epee Camp w/ World-Renowned Coach Sandro Cuomo

A 3-day epee camp with World-Renowned National Coach of Italian Team Sandro Cuomo. Coach Cuomo is himself one of the most decorated fencer of his era, being Olympic Champion in Atlanta 1996, Olympic Bronze Medalist in Los Angles 1984, Three times World Champion, and multiple winner and medalist of World Cups and other international competitions. As a coach, under Sandro Cuomo's leadership, the Italian team won multiple Olympic, World and European titles and medals. He is considered one of the greatest epee coaches of our time. This camp will bring your game to the next level and allow you to acquire a unique insight into competitive epee fencing and strategies. This is also a unique opportunity to closely work with one of the best fencing coaches in world. Together with coach Cuomo comes his son, Valerio Cuomo, who is winner of the World Cup on Sochi as Senior, multiple times Junior World Championships medalist, and is a current member of the Italian Team. Valerio will be a sparing partner in the camp. Age and fencing level requirements: -- AFM fencers in Competitive class -- AFM fencers in Advanced Class Qualified for JO's -- AFM fencers in Advanced class (not qualified for JO's) - per individual approval -- Non-AFM fencers - 2009 and older who qualified and signed up for Junior Olympics. Fees: -- $600 for 3-day camp - if registered by the end of the day, January 31, 2023 -- $700 for 3-day camp - if registered on February 1-9, 2023 -- $250/day - daily fee Camp hours: Friday, February 10, 2023 - 5pm - 8pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 - 11am - 5pm (lunch 1pm-2pm) Sunday, February 12, 2023 - 10am - 5pm (lunch 12:30pm-1:30pm) Refund and Cancellation Policy: -- Refund request must be made in writing (email) no later than January 31, 2023. -- Refund will be issued for $550, $50 is non-refundable. A refund check will be sent to the specified in the email address within one week after completion of the camp. -- No Refunds or credits on or after February 1st, 2023, regardless of the reason What to bring: -- Full fencing gear competition ready (including long socks, knickers, at least 2 sets of epees and body cords) -- t-shirts/shorts to change -- snack and lunch -- water Preregistration opens on 12/23/2022.
