What people are saying:

"He won every single bout he fenced and stayed strong, calm and focused through both Y10 and Y12. I really believe that his sessions with you put him in the right frame of mind to address the nerves and anxiety he admitted he felt — so thank you for making an impact!"

—Happy Parent

"I really liked the clinic... The biggest thing I drew out of it... sometimes I was doing stuff and I didn't realize I was practicing my mental skills... that session allowed the kids to recognize when they were doing it, and just starting that conversation is a massive first step."

–Marcus Mepstead, Silver Medalist, Senior World Championships 2019

“Corwin has done the methodical research to create an incredibly helpful and refreshing clinic. I’ve already been applying many techniques and skills to my own classes!

I would recommend this clinic to athletes/coaches of any level."

–Ryan Arieta, Coach, Coach, West Berkeley Fencing Club

"I invited Corwin to the club because when I went to coach at the Olympics it was clear that the mental game was a big factor for everyone there. He taught several mental techniques and helped fencers practice them during bouts.

His clinic is good, and I would recommend it to other coaches and fencers."

–Andrey Geva, US Olympic Coach, Women's Epee

"I just wanted to let you know that whatever topics and techniques you went over during the workshop, they worked! My son went to two tournaments after your workshop, he was able to pass the first DE bouts which was a big improvement.

One of the DEs, he only got 5 points during halftime, and was able to win the bout in the end 15 vs 13."

–Violet T., Happy Parent

"I thought it was an informative exposure to an organized and logical framework to practice mindfulness skills. I think it will make for much improvement in my results and satisfaction at competitions."

–T.A., Clinic Participant

The clinic was very fencing tailored, which was helpful. I’ve been to clinics were the person leading it was not familiar with fencing and that angle was missing.
