Dates: June 16-20 Hours: 9am to 2pm Cost: $150.00 per week Coach Aleksandr Gromov Coach Gromov is from the former republic of the Soviet Union, has fenced since he was 6 years old and has many years of international level fencing experience. Besides many fencing awards and medals, Coach Gromov is a two-time National Champion of the USSR in Modern Pentathlon and two-time Gold Medalist in World Cup Pentathlon. Camp Info This camp is for competitive fencers who already know how to fence EPEE. It is also designed for fencers who will be attending the Summer Nationals in San Jose, CA. Camp description: group lessons and drills to enhance fencing skills, introduce or enforce tactical concepts and strategies, epee bouting using electrical scoring equipment, bouting with a variety of partners to gain new and varied competitive experience and a variety of games to enhance physical skills. Each fencer must bring his/her own electrical fencing equipment and full fencing uniforms. A minimum of two weapons and two body cords are necessary. Private lessons are available with Coach Gromov for an additional fee. Registration deadline is June 6th. Pre-registration and payment required.
