Colorado National Quals Div II/III/Teams

Preregistration closes 3/11. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! If preregistrations are too big the division reserves the right to schedule events on 3/22. Registration fees: $20 first event, $15 each additional event. Registration times will be posted as we get an idea of the number of participants check your emails for updates. Depending on the number of registrants, this event may run over 2 days instead of 1 day. For more information contact Jennifer Ward: jlward07@gmail.com DIV 2/DIV 3 QUALIFYING INFORMATION: DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIPS Fencers must have a classification in the weapon of “C”, “D”, “E”, or Unclassified at the time of the qualifying competition AND born no later than 1995* AND • Place in the top 25% of the 2009 Division Qualifying competition • Qualified for D1A and meet the classification criteria for Division II (C or below) (BOD, 9/06) * If a fencer is listed in a National age group rolling point standing at the entry deadline, the fencer may enter the next older age category of competition, even if that fencer is younger than allowed by the age bracket. DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS • Fencers must have a classification in the weapon of “D”, “E”, or Unclassified at the time of the qualifying competition AND have been born no later than 1995* AND • Place in the top 25% of the total number of “D, “E” or “U” fencers competing in the 2009 Division’s Division II Qualifying competition OR • If separate Division III qualifying competition is held by the Division, then the top 25% of the field will qualify for Division III National Championships • Qualified for Division II and meet the classification criteria for Division III (D, E, or U) (BOD 9/08) * If a fencer is listed in a National age rolling group point standing at the entry deadline, the fencer may enter the next older age category of competition, even if that fencer is younger than allowed by the age bracket. If 3 or fewer teams register all preregistered teams will automatically qualify. No registration fees will be collected and no representatives for each team need to be present. If 4 or more teams register there will be a $20 registation fee per team and the event will be fenced.
