This is a sanctioned USFA event. All fencers must be current access or competitive members of the USA Fencing Association for the 2020-2021 season. to Join or renew/Upgrade your membership go to http://www.usfencing.org/membership Full uniform is required including plastron (underarm protector), knickers, lame, and knee-length socks. Chest protectors are required for female fencers, optional for male fencers. Glove Mask checks will be performed prior to competition, and there will be weight/shim tests for all weapons brought onto the fencing strip. Events Scheduled: Div2 Mixed Epee Jan 15 9:00AM Y14 Mixed Epee Jan 15 11:00AM Unrated Mixed Epee Jan 15 2:00PM Y10 Mixed Epee Jan 15 1:00PM Tournament Format.: One round of pools followed by direct eliminations. There will be 100% promotion to direct elimination COVID-19 Policy: Due to COVID-19, all people in the venue will be required to wear masks at all times including while fencing. This applies to all competitors, parents, coaches, and officials. Awards: Medals issued to top 8 and Trophy for first place Fees: Tournament registration Fee: $35 Each event entered: $25 per event. Y10 Event: Y10 fencers must use blades that are no longer than 32.5 inches (i.e., blades that are designated a "0" or "2" under the internationally recognized lengths). Weapon length will be tested prior to competition. Preregistration opens on 12/21/2021. Preregistration closes on 01/14/2022.
