ENTRY
This event is sanctioned by USFA's NJ Division. Please plan to arrive at least 30-minutes before the close of check-in.
REGISTRATION
All fencers are required to have a valid membership type for the 2024-2025 season to compete. This would include a USA Fencing Competitive or Access membership, another Fencing Federation membership, or an FIE membership. Obtain or renew a membership at: https://member.usfencing.org/

Y10 - Born between 2015 - 2018
Y12 - Born between 2013 - 2016 OR on Y10 NRPS
Y14 - Born between 2011 - 2014 OR on Y12 NRPS
FEE SCHEDULE
$55 MAF Members: Academy members who pay at the door.
$65 Full Preregistration: Preregistering and payment through Askfred prior to the day of the event.
$75 Partial Preregistration: Preregistering on Askfred, and paying at the door.
$85 Walk-Ins: No preregistration, payment at the door.
REFUND POLICY
To ensure that we have the proper staffing of referees, refunds will be issued to any fencer who has pre-paid online and withdraws from the event at least 24-hours in advance of the start of the event.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
-USFA regulation uniform is required, this includes long socks.
-The fencer's name is NOT required to be displayed on the uniform for this event.
-All events are conducted with electric equipment. A preliminary inspection will be conducted at the beginning of each pool and DE to ensure the presence of the following equipment: underarm plastron, weapons, and body cords. Athletes are subject to prohibition from fencing if these conditions are not met.
-Fencer must have at least two working weapons, two body cords, and two head cords (if applicable).
-Event will be mixed if less than 6 fencers register for the women's event. The event may also be mixed if the women (by majority vote) deem a mixed event to lead to a better chance of earning a rating.
-One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds.
-No fence-off for third place; Medals awarded to 3rd place.
-Fencers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all posted information and must report errors to the bout committee immediately.
PREREGISTRATION END DATE
Preregistration closes at 11:59 the day prior to the event. At which point, space permitting you can still participate as a walk-in.
CHECK-IN CLOSE TIME
Check-in closes promptly at the above listed times on the day of the event. Showing up late may cause you to be ineligible to compete and will be up to the discretion of the bout committee. If you know you are running late call us at (908) 691-3029!
EQUIPMENT RENTAL FEES
$15 Body cord, head cord, glove, underarm protector, chest protector, knickers, jacket, lame.
$12 Long socks (purchase).
$20 Mask.
$25 Fencing weapon and all other equipment.
$65 Additional fee for any snapped rented weapon.
