OSM Fencing 2025-2026 Circuit Series Tournament#1


Come join us in Victoria BC for the first tournament of our 2025-2026 season circuit! All participants are REQUIRED to have a valid and current Canadian Fencing Federation (CFF) license.


Events:

Y10, Cadet, Senior Men's/Women's Foil

Junior & Senior Men's/Women's Epee

Senior Men's/Women's Sabre


Schedule:

  1. Senior Men's/Women's Epee: (9:30AM close of check-in)

  1. Senior Men's/Women's Sabre: (9:30AM close of check-in)

  1. Junior Men's/Women's Epee: (1:00PM close of check-in)

  1. Senior Men's/Women's Foil: (1:00PM close of check-in)


  1. Y10 Men's/Women's Foil: (3:30PM close of check-in)


  1. Cadet Men's/Women's Foil: (3:30PM close of check-in)


NOTE: events are MIXED. However, events will be separated into men's/women's should there be a minimum of 6 participants per category. Events to begin shortly after close of check-in.


Fees:

$35.00 for first event, $25.00 for each additional event.

Payment options: cash, cheque, e-transfer (visa/debit not accepted at this time)

NOTE: fees are waived for all OSM Fencing members in good standing.


Uniform Requirements:

ALL fencers must have full kit (i.e. complete uniform, weapon-appropriate mask, knee-high socks, etc.) with minimum 350N C.E. resistance.


Medals:

Medals & certificate of placement issued to Top 4. In the case in which events are mixed, medals & certificate of placement will be issued to the Top 4 men and women. Certificate of placement available upon request for any fencer outside the Top 4.

NOTE: club points earned in a mixed event for OSM Fencing members will reflect their overall placement in the event and not their separated placement.


Photos & Video Recording:

Participants may appear in tournament photos during the course of their event(s). All event finals will be recorded and posted to the OSM Fencing YouTube channel. Purpose of these video recordings is to provide fencers the opportunity to evaluate and study their performance, as well as to provide family/friends/coaches unable to attend, the opportunity to view the event final(s).
