Read this entire document for important information and policies. Any changes will be communicated to registrants by email so ensure your email is correct in your profile.
Please be considerate of our neighbors and do not park in front of loading docks or garage doors, or in spaces marked for other tenants (including those marked "visitor". YOU WILL BE TOWED! There is additional parking available in the lot across the street.
If you have issues with registration, please check to make sure you are a current USFencing member before you send me an email (merritt55@comcast.net). You will be blocked if you are not a current member. You must be a competitive or access member to compete in this event.
PLEASE DO NOT:
1) EMAIL if you have had a recent classification change and it's not reflected in askfred. Your askfred profile will update when the event is uploaded to the computer and results from this event are posted back to askfred. Only classifications noted in the USFencing database are accepted.
2) EMAIL via askfred. PLEASE email merritt55@comcast.net for questions, info. etc. Askfred email is rarely used so more likely I won't respond to your query in time.
ELIGIBIILTY
Must be born 1986 or earlier
Must be EITHER Access or Competitive USFencing member. If you have issues registering, please check your USFencing membership status.
REGISTRATION FEES
Preregistration fee: $40
Medals awarded to top 3(4)
Events are limited to 42 fencers. There is no waitlist. If capacity is reached you will have to monitor the site for withdrawals.
Preregistration without payment is not considered a complete registration. If you do not complete your registration with payment by the stated deadline, you will not fence. There are no walk-ins.
Incomplete registrations will be deleted by the organizers when we are close to the cap limit.
Division is not responsible for any problems registering on askfred. We recommend you register early to avoid last minute issues.
Stated deadlines are final. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR INABILITY TO REGISTER IN TIME.
REFUNDS/WITHDRAWALS
No refunds after October 26, 2025 FOR ANY REASON.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds will not be issued unless requested by the close of preregistration (October 26). No refunds will be issued after the stated
preregistration deadline (October 26) FOR ANY REASON including COVID, other illness, injury, family issue, etc.
Refund requests must be made to the organizer (merritt55@comcast.net) before the preregistration deadline.
No refunds for self-withdrawal.
Please do not self-withdraw. Contact organizer (merritt55@comcast.net) so others in event may be notified if registration drops below the cap number (or 6).
If event is cancelled you will receive an email requesting address for refund.
OTHER INFORMATION
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Please do not waste your time and mine by asking to register after the stated deadline.
Event times may change depending on entries.
When men's and women's events are to start at the same time or within 30 minutes of each other, the meets may be combined at the discretion of the meet managers if either event has fewer than six entries.
Events will be mixed if fewer than 6 preregistered competitors and cancelled if fewer than six when mixed.
You may fence in only one individual event event per day scheduled for the same time. If you register for two events on the same day, you MUST present yourself at the appropriate strip when called or withdraw. We will not hold up an event if you are still fencing in another event.
