Southern California Division qualifiers to 2026 Summer Nationals
A Southern California Division hosted event. All grounded strips. All professional referees.

- Posted times are preliminary. They may be adjusted based on pre-registration on AskFred. Please check AskFred on 3/28/2026 to see if your event times have changed.
- Bring your USA Fencing ID and, if not age-verified, proof of age (see below)
Registration & Entry Fees
The first 4 fencers (and parents/siblings) who email admin@socaldivision.org to help setup, before close of pre-registration, will have their entry fees waived. Setup starts at 7:00 AM on 3/29/2026.
- Pre-registration on AskFred, closing on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11:59PM (Pacific): $60 per event
- Waiver fees will be considered for fencers who have financial hardships. Please contact admin@socaldivision.org for consideration.
- Registrations that are unpaid as of Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11:59PM (Pacific) will be removed
- At the door: $120 per event (credit card and Zelle accepted). Zelle: treasurer@socaldivision.org please provide name of fencer and event
Event Groups
- Y-14 birth year 2011-2014 or Y12 National Points
All fencers who are not Age Verified on their USA membership MUST provide proof of age (birth certificate, passport) at check-in. We recommend all fencers complete USA Fencing’s age verification process at least one week prior to the tournament.
- Div2: Born 2012 or earlier, and a rating of C, D, E or U
- Div3: Born 2012 or earlier, and a rating of D, E or U
Please note that Div2 and Div3 events are combined.
National Qualifying Events
These events are restricted to:
- Current members of the Southern California Division of USA Fencing
- US Citizens or Permanent Residents
- If you are already pre-qualified to compete in your event(s) in the Summer Nationals by regional or national points, you do not have to compete in this tournament.
- Only fencers who are pre-qualified by national points are skipped in determining qualifiers from this event.

- The 2026 Summer Nationals are scheduled to be held June 27, 2025 to July 7, 2025 in Portland, OR
Format
All events: At least one round of pools, 100%* promoted to direct elimination.
*may be adjusted to less than 100% if required (this has never been required.)
Medals
Medals are awarded to the top 3 places in all events, including ties for 3rd place.
