Summer Fencing Camp 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Ages 6+ to 17 years old.
At Long Island Fencers Club, our mission is to provide a platform for children to come together, have fun, and promote health and wellbeing through our camps and clinics. Sports can create a sense of community and fellowship.
The Long Island Fencers' Club stands as a beacon of excellence, being the most celebrated and nationally recognized Long Island Fencing Club for its inclusive programming. We take pride in our multiple grants from USA Fencing and All Kids Play, a testament to our commitment to providing top-quality programs.
At the Long Island Fencers' Club, the safety of our members is paramount. Our coaching staff are registered with and undergo thorough criminal background checks by USA Fencing. They also receive comprehensive training in recognizing and preventing child abuse from SafeSport. We maintain an open-door policy, inviting parents to visit our camps and clinics at any time, further ensuring the safety and well-being of our members.
At the Long Island Fencers' Club, we provide the best resources for our members. Our extensive inventory of physical conditioning equipment includes a wide range of items, from basketball courts and professional basketballs to dumbbells, high-end jump ropes, and physical tic tac toe. We also offer plyometric boxes, slam balls, rubber bands, weighted holla hoops, agility cones and ladders, various hurdles, volleyball games, bosu balls, and more, ensuring a diverse range of activities for everyone.
The Long Island Fencers' Club provides each student with a complete fencing uniform and equipment for the duration of the camp. Campers are not required to purchase additional equipment. Students are required to wear t-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, and long socks to camp.
During our lunch break, students are encouraged to engage with each other through checkers and chess games, further stimulating intellectual growth. Students are required to bring snacks, drinks, and lunches each day to camp.
Novice and experienced campers ages six to seventeen can join our Summer Camp programs. Campers are grouped by age and/or ability to provide each attendee with the best learning experience.
Summer Camps are $425 per week, not including before or aftercare. Camp fees include an Access Membership with the United States Fencing Association.
Lunch/Snacks/Drinks:
The Long Island Fencers’ Club requires campers to bring lunch, snacks, and drinks each day of camp. Lunches, Snacks, and drinks are to be labeled with the fencer’s name. Refrigerated storage is available for daily usage but not for long-term storage. Cold water is readily available, and campers are required to bring a sports bottle to camp.
Camp Schedule (Sample):
9:00 am to 9:30 am - Welcome and Warm Up
9:30 am to 11:00 am - Footwork and Blade Work
11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Lunch, Games, Fencing Movie
12:00 pm to 1:30 pm - Electric Fencing and Drills
1:30 pm to 2:00 pm - Physical Conditioning

Refund:
The Long Island Fencers’ Club offers a conditional refund thirty days before the start of the camp students are registered to attend. The refund is in the form of a credit to classes offered by the Long Island Fencers’ Club within sixty days and according to the policies of the Long Island Fencers Club.
No refunds and/or credit will be offered for cancellation less than thirty days before the start of the camp students are registered to attend.
