AAU membership is required for fencers AND coaches. Open to fencers from any State. Medals to top fencers regardless State of residence. Additional recognition to top placing Illinois residents.

AAU membership is required. Get your AAU membership here: www.aausports.org. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO ORDER YOUR MEMBERSHIP. IT TAKES A FEW DAYS TO GO THROUGH.


Entry is $30 per event.



*All events are currently listed as mixed. If we get enough fencers we will separate the events by gender. Regardless, medals will be awarded to the top female and male fencers in each event.


*We will combine Y10 and Y12 events. The top fencers from each age group will receive medals.


*We will combine Senior and Veteran events. Medals will be awarded to the top Senior and top Veteran fencers.


Photography and Video: Both photos and video will be taken of some of the bouts. Some of those recordings may be posted on our website for you to watch later.

▪ All participants must have a current AAU membership.


▪ AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event.


▪ AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a laptop available with an internet connect. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site www.aausports.org to obtain their membership.




This event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and sanctioned by the Fencing League of America (FLA), all fencers must to hold a current AAU athlete membership.


The ratings will awarded by Fencing League of America including youth events.

RULES: Competition will be played by FLA and adopted AAU Rules. (Based on the international FIE rules)

You acknowledge you are entering this tournament at your own risk and release AAU, FLA and its sponsors, FENCERS OF THE CORN FENCING CLUB, referees, and staff from any and all liability. With entry you give consent to FENCERS OF THE CORN FENCING CLUB to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital or clinic for any injury or illness that may arise during activities associated with this tournament. **

Neither the Minor nor you shall receive any compensation in connection with use of these statements, photographs, and/or audio or video recordings for promotional, commercial or other purposes. On behalf of the Minor and yourself, you hereby release, waive and discharge any claims of any kind or nature arising out of or relating to the use of the statements, photographs, and/or audio or video recordings against FENCERS OF THE CORN FENCING CLUB or any person or firm authorized by FENCERS OF THE CORN FENCING CLUB to publish said materials ("Publisher"), Such release, waiver and discharge shall also extend to all affiliated companies, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents and assigns of FENCERS OF THE CORN FENCING CLUB and any Publisher. COACHES' EDUCATION: The AAU is happy to make available FREE Coaches' Education for all AAU non-athlete members. This program is administered by Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). Positive Coaching Alliance is a national nonprofit dedicated to fostering a positive youth sports culture that builds character and helps children and young people learn essential social and emotional skills.
