Camp with Foil Coach of University of Pennsylvania

Foil Fencing Camp with Coach Brennan Louie is an intensive training program designed to prepare fencers for upcoming season and give perspective on what to expect from NCAA training hosted by the Orlando Fencing Academy. The space is limited to 16 and summer national qualified fencers will have priority.

This intensive high performance Camp will be held from July 29 ~ Aug 2 with training from 9:00 am-1:00 pm each day. Early drop-off and late pick-up are also available.

Each day will include:

Warm-up

Stretching

Physical Training including:

Footwork/Bladework skill development

Specialized Instruction by weapon

Structured Bouting

The registration fee is $800 for OFA members or $1000 for non OFA members and includes five days of athletic training, competitive bouts and pvt lessons will be available with extra cost.

About Coach Brennan Louie:

Brennan Louie is currently the foil coach at the University of Pennsylvania. In his first year, He led the UPenn women’s fencing team to their first Ivy League Championship victory in 20 years in  and the UPenn men’s foil team to their first NCAA championship victory since 1997. As an athlete, Brennan won the Individual gold medal at the 2017 South East Asian Games and represented their country at the 2018 Asian Games. Known for clear communication and precise instruction, Brennan distills complex techniques into easily understandable concepts.
