Columbus Fencing & Fitness welcomes all age-eligible young fencers to the 18th Annual Ray Bautista Memorial YOUTH Tournament! Our team is committed to making this a well-run and organized event. We look forward to your participation.

Y8 Sabre - 10 competitors
Y8 Foil - 10 competitors
Y10 Sabre - 15 competitors
Y10 Foil - 15 competitors
Y12 Sabre - 18 competitors
Y12 Foil – 18 competitors
Y14 Sabre - 25 competitors
Y-12/Y14 Foil - 25 competitors
Pre-registrations received after the events reach cap will be placed on a WAITING LIST. Confirmation of participation to fencers on the waiting list will be sent via email on May 17, 2024.

The doors will open at 8:00 AM. We expect for all events to start within 30 min from the close of registration times.
FEES:
Open registration: $55/ event; Deadline Monday, April 29.
Late registration: $75/ event; Deadline Friday, May 17
Walk-in registration: $100/ event; Deadline @ Close of Registration.
AskFRED preregistration closes on Friday, May 17.
No prepayment is required; payments by CASH or CHECK are collected at check-in, based on AskFRED preregistration date.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds. No fence-off for third place. Medals are awarded to the top four finishers. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CLUB'S WARM-UPS OR WHITES FOR THE MEDAL CEREMONY.
EQUIPMENT:
USA Fencing regulations apply. All masks will be tested for safety and gloves will be inspected visually. #2 size blades are required for Y8 and Y10 events.
USA FENCING MEMBERSHIP:
Current ACCESS or COMPETITIVE membership is required for all the events. Please go to www.usafencing.org to become a member or to upgrade/renew your current membership.
RULES:
USA Fencing rules apply as outlined in the USA Fencing Rulebook and as discussed further in the USA Fencing Athlete Handbook.
